Dr Fiona J. Denton is a clinical psychologist with a doctorate in clinical psychology from the University of Sydney. She also has a Bachelor of Psychology (1^st class Honours) and a Master of Science (Psychology) from the same university. Fiona has supervised post-graduate psychology students in their clinical training, and in this capacity has been an Honorary Associate of the psychology department at Macquarie University. She has also assisted with the post-graduate clinical psychology program at Charles Sturt University, doing casual teaching and marking papers.

Fiona is registered with the NSW Psychologists Registration Board (registration number: PS0069420), and is a member of The Australian Psychological Society (APS) and the Australian Association of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (AACBT).

Her experience includes treating children, adolescents and adults across a wide variety of settings with a wide range of problems. These settings include Community Mental Health Teams, private inpatient and outpatient hospitals, university clinics, a large private practice of clinical psychologists, and for the last 5 years, an independent private practice. The range of issues that Fiona has encountered is large and varied, but most commonly involves depression, anxiety, relationship problems, stress, trauma, adjustment to health/medical conditions, chronic pain, eating disorders, and issues relating to low self-esteem.
